Unusual Products
This is a list of products that are worth mentioning for their novelty value.

1: Easy Feet Scrubber:
The Easy Feet Scrubber is a shoe-like contraption you "wear" and basically scrub your feet with.
You can check out the infomercial for it here.

My favourite part is when a man sniffs one of his shoes in the shower for some reason.

2: CDs with custom shapes:
There are CDs and sometimes DVDs that have custom shapes. As an example, the single "This Here Giraffe" was printed on a star shaped CD, which you can see here.

Shaped discs can have any shape as long as a circular portion in the middle is available for data. Data cannot be written outside of the circular portion.
There are disadvantages to shaped discs that likely prevented their usage to be more widespread. Because the circular portion is smaller, shaped discs hold less space than a normal circle disc, for example a business CD holds about 50 MB. Shaped discs are also less likely to work on slot loading disc players, they work best on tray-loading players with a spindle.

3: Heinz EZ Squirt:
Heinz EZ Squirt is basically unusually colored ketchup, instead of red, it's colors like green or purple. How they made the ketchup was basically removing or supressing the red colouring of the tomatoes used, then adding food coloring.
Since they presumably used common tomatoes, and since there are tomato cultivars with different colors, it gives me the idea to make ketchup from various tomato cultivars such as Bradywine, the Green Zebra, pear tomatoes, Cherokee purples, Garden Peach, Japanese Black Trifele, Roma tomatoes, etc. While they may not sell these in stores as far as I'm aware, I believe you can probably find some recipes for these "alternative ketchups" on the internet.

4: McDonald's Arch Deluxe Burger:
The Arch Deluxe was one of several "Deluxe" burgers aimed at adults. By reviewing the ingredients of the Arch Deluxe, I think what made it "adult-tasting" was the mayo-mustard sauce and the peppered bacon.
In a very wise marketing strategy, they sold their products using a series of condescending advertisements depicting, for example, a couple of children expressing visceral disgust at the burger.

Or this commercial insisting "we'd have to check your ID" if it were "more grown-up."

5: Energy Drinks:
Redux Beverages came out with an energy drink they had the courage to call "Cocaine." As in, the illicit street drug.
Perhaps not surprisingly, the FDA (as well as people like parents) had a problem with that, objecting to the marketing of it as "the legal alternative." For a while, they decided to change the name to the very descriptive moniker "No Name."
Moving on to another example of questionable energy drink names, there is also a "100% natural" energy drink names "Pussy." One of their advertising campaigns had the slogan, "The drink's pure, it's your mind that's the problem." The Advertising Standards Authority later banned the advert after receiving close to 160 complaints from the public.

(Shocking indeed. At least they didn't name it "See You Next Tuesday" or "French Connection United Kingdom," oh, hold on a sec...)
You may have heard of French Connection United Kingdom and their tasteless abbreviation, but have you heard that "French Connection" also refers to a historical drug trafficking scheme? In addition to selling clothes, we could also start a completely unwarranted conspiracy theory and state that the company is also secretly selling heroin in various underground markets. (No, they're not!)

6: Rotating TVs:
Unless you've been living under a rock or with an isolated tribal group or something, you've almost certainly heard of widescreen TVs. But you might not know that vertical TV's also exist.
Samsung developed a rotating television, called the Sero TV, that allows the viewer to watch videos made on smartphones, such as TikTok videos, in full resolution.

7: Smartwatches:
The Nubia Alpha is a smartwatch that basically has a long screen, unlike most smartwatches with either square or circle screens. The screen is stretched and bends across the straps, taking advantage of the newer flexible screens. As the name suggests, this smartwatch or wristphone serves as a proof of concept device. Linus Tech Tips reviewed the watch, referring to it as the worst product he's ever loved, because while the watch is a preview for what's to come, it has many flaws, and it crashed a lot on him.
The Nubia Alpha is not quite like a regular handheld smartphone, because it cannot browse websites, or have custom Android apps installed on it.
DoCoMo made a watchphone back in 2003 called the "Wristomo." Since technology wasn't as advanced back then, it features a black and white screen that lights up orange, it's also outdated and clunky-looking. And to think Japan was considered futuristic back then!

9: Game Console For Girls:
The Casio Loopy is a 90s game console that was targeted towards a female audience. It was only released in Japan, featured 10 games, and features a printer which prints in full color. All 10 games supported use of the printer. It's worth mentioning for Women's History Month, or just for it's novelty value.

12: Dumb Phones:
"Dumb phones," also known by the presumably more formal name "feature phones," are cell phones that mimic the features of earlier such phones, such as having a flip screen, for example. Feature phones are this, at least, but there's "dumb phones" that do not match this description, such as the Light Phone.
The first version of the Light Phone could pretty much only handle voice calls. The second version of the Light Phone has contacts, programmed calls, and simple directions. While it is called a "dumbphone," it is built like a modern smartphone, except it has an e-ink display.

Other Products From The Past:
If video games had used analog computers early on, we might have had GOOD GRAPHICS back in the 80's.
There also was a technology called "Smell-O-Vision," which was featured in the 1960 film "Scent of Mystery." During certain points in the movie, certain scents were triggered, including when they indicate important plot points.
If we had that kind of technology today, we might have had the Wikipedia article on durians include a "scent file," similar to "sound file," that lets us know how bad a durian smells.
